Davis Orthodontics – This year, some patients
chose to donate their reward points earned (Davis Dollars) to Tali’s Fund rather
than collecting prizes. Davis
Orthodontics matched the patient donations dollar for dollar, bringing the
total amount to $4542.40!
October 2012:
Alex Giannoulis’ Birthday Fundraiser – Alex decided to ask for donations to Tali’s
Fund in lieu of gifts for his 11th birthday party. He raised $400!
June 2012: Tali’s Fund helped
support the 15th International Symposium on Paediatric Neuro‐Oncology, which took place in
Toronto. This conference is a
collaborative event that assembles those within the paediatric neuro‐oncology
community—paediatric neuro‐ oncologists, neuro‐oncologists,
oncologists, neuro‐pathologists, psychologists, pharmacists, nurses and
social workers internationally, whose expertise is particularly focused on
enhancing the care of paediatric neuro‐oncology patients. The ISPNO brings together world leaders in
paediatric and neuro‐oncology research in order to further enhance the
knowledge of the participants in helping children with neuro‐oncologic diseases.
June 2012: Leo Baeck Grade 8 Fundraiser – Grade 8 students at the Leo Baeck Day School led a school fundraising
event. They sold popcorn and held a
dance-a-thon. Over $2000 was raised for
Tali’s Fund!
